GableSigns Identifies New Venues at Annapolis Town CenterAnnapolis, MD (August 2009) — The newly-developed open air shopping center has been all the buzz ever since Owings Mills, Maryland-based Greenberg Gibbons Commercial Developing company purchased the Annapolis property on Parole Road. The $500-million project includes over 40 retail and restaurant spaces as well as a Luxury residential area. The town center includes a premium mix of retailers such as Target, Whole Foods, Bed Bath & Beyond, Charm City Run, Brooks Brothers and an assortment of restaurants including P.F. Changs, Real Seafood and The Chop House.
GableSigns’ involvement in the finalization of this project included the fabrication of signs for five of Annapolis Town Center’s featured venues – Smythe Jewelers, The Chop House, Real Seafood, Paper Source and Poppy and Stella. The Chop House, a Michigan-based steak and wine restaurant, called upon GableSigns to construct the entire sign project for its first ever Maryland location. Established in 1998, The Chop House (www.thechophouserestaurant.com) serves the finest in USDA prime beef, great meats, seafood, classic sides and sinfully delicious desserts. The Real Seafood Company (www.realseafoodrestaurant.com), also a new client of GableSigns, specializes in fresh seafood from the harbors of Boston, Chesapeake Bay, and George’s Bank.
Brand new to Maryland and working with GableSigns for the first time is Paper Source (www.paper-source.com), the premier seller of fine, handmade papers from around the world. Additionally, GableSigns assisted women’s shoe and accessories retailer Poppy and Stella (www.poppyandstella.com) with their new store’s branding project. Smyth Jewelers (www.albertsmyth.com) returned to GableSigns to complete all of their second location’s signage just as they did with their Timonium branch.
