GableSigns Wins in USSC Design Contest for 16th Consecutive Year!

Baltimore, MD (August 2010) — GableSigns is extremely proud to announce another big win in the United States Sign Council’s Annual Sign Design Contest!  For 16 consecutive years now, GableSigns has consistently won at least 1 of the 12 categories in this annual contest held by the USSC.

This year proved to be a monumental one with GableSigns winning 5 awards, including “Best of Show”!  For those keeping track, this brings GableSigns’ total to 42 awards since first entering into the USSC contest in 1995.

“It is an honor to be recognized by the United States Sign Council for our designs.  As a member of the design team, I can say that it is a privilege to work for GableSigns and see our designs emerge from a sheet of paper to the side of the road,” stated Steve Mawn, a member of the GableSigns Design Team and first-time winner of a USSC award.

Of the 12 categories that USSC gives awards for, GableSigns was awarded in 5 of them.  The design of Righttime Medical Care, a provider of convenient medical care for over 20 years to families throughout Maryland, proved to be the big winner this year as it was crowned “Best of Show” for 2010 by USSC.

“Gable has continuously set the bar high for sign design for decades.  These milestones of recognition continue to give us strong creditability in the national and international signage marketplace.  As always, I am pleased to be an influential contributor to that,” said Curtis Arbaugh, GableSigns’ Senior Design Consultant.

GableSigns will be attending the United States Sign Council’s Sign World International Conference December 2 – 4 in Atlantic City, New Jersey to receive the awards.
